Maybe I am strange for describing plain chlorella as delicious but seriously, this stuff is so fresh and vibrant, it's actually delicious just straight from the package imo.I can tell this is quality chlorella because of the flavor, bright color, and lack of fishy aroma. It was packaged promptly and processed properly. While the individual 3 gram packets are not cost efficient, they do lend themselves to optimal freshness since this chlorella has minimal exposure to light and air between harvest and ingestion.The packets all weighed in at or above 3 grams each.

Ifm already familiar with this brand, so I felt confident trying their chlorella powder, especially knowing itfs 100% pure with no additives. I mixed one packet with about 8 ounces of water, and it dissolved quickly and completely?no residue at the bottom, which really speaks to its quality. It has the slightest 'ocean' smell which I loved.While I absolutely love seaweed, I found the flavor of this chlorella quite strong and challenging to drink. However, because of its great health benefits, I managed to chug it down and followed it with a glass of water. I prefer consuming chlorella in liquid form, but if I canft get used to the taste, I may try their tablet version next time. I felt my energy level was higher.Aside from the flavor, the quality is excellent, clearly reflected in the deep, vibrant green color of the powder. A potent, well-made supplement for anyone seeking pure chlorella.

This supplement truly deserves 6 stars..As soon as I tried it I immediately loved it. You can tell the quality is great.Not only does it have top notch ingredients but it comes from a trusted source. Alot of supplements come seem quite questionable , bit not this one.Powder is easy to dissolve and liquid turns bright green. Taste is earthy and it almost has that fishy taste you get when drinking matcha. It actually tastes very clean.I honest wish I would have received the box that has 30 pouches .. I totally recommend this product.

I have never tried chlorella powder before and this one by Sun Chlorella is a reputable brand from Japan. I added it to water as per one of the suggestions on the back of the box. It's a very dark green color and doesn't dissolve. It tastes kind of seaweedy and isn't something I would want to be sipping on although I like seaweed. I ended up adding a little chicken bouillon and rice to it for an instant soup. My other idea would have been adding it to miso soup. I think it's best consumed if you can overpower the flavor of the chlorella with a stronger flavor. I will definitely be experimenting with adding it to different things for a nutritional boost.

I have heard of the benefits chlorella, but this was my first time trying chlorella on its own. I like that this product is 100% chlorella without any added fillers or flavors. I like being able to get all the micronutrients, antioxidants, and phytonutrients available in chlorella in powdered form. I tried one of these with plain water, and I can tell you that it definitely tastes like algae, so I’d advise mixing this into a smoothie, oatmeal, or something savory or sweet to mask the flavor if you have a sensitive palate. That’s the only reason I docked one star, but I don’t mind drinking it now and then for the benefits.

This is a legit chlorella supplement. It comes from a good company whose website is very informative. The chlorella comes in individual packets. I put one packet in my protein drink and it is fine. It makes the protein taste a little grassy, but not bad at all. There is a P65 warning on the package, which is a little concerning...hence 4 stars instead of 5.

I've been taking chlorella on and off for the past twenty years and this is the best brand out there by leaps and miles. They've been around since the 70s and are Japanese made, where they are obsessed with quality. The cell wall crushing matters for bioavailability, but even more importantly they are the cleanest product you can get at this point in time, which is really important because algae are bioaccumulators of both organic pollutants and heavy metals. It is getting harder and harder to find a clean(er) brand and this is the best you can get.I generally prefer the tablets just for ease of use, but you need to take six of those daily versus one of these, so it's definitely more convenient in that sense. The trade off, however, is going to be taste. It's not as fishy as spirulina can be, but it's definitely grassy/seaweedy/briny etc. It's not delicious but it IS nutritious and so so good for you. Just stick it in a smoothie so you can't taste it. The packet looks like a lot but I'd say there is just about a tablespoon of powder in there, so it's not too terrible. Berries or carrots or any other strong flavor would cover it, as would sticking it in a green smoothie which already doesn't taste great anyway, lol.Unlike many other brands which can give you a headache or stomach ache due to contamination, these have given me no side effects. Be aware thought that just as it can pull heavy metals and pollutants from the ocean, it can also pull them out of you. So if you are in need of detox you might feel some side effects at first but it should be very, very mild. Like anything, go low and slow - start with half or even a third of a packet to see how it makes you feel. If you feel bad, STOP. Listen to your own body.I am always low in certain vitamins and iron due to nutrient absorption issues and chlorella increases my numbers fast. Hard to find a more bioavailable form of B12 or D in my experience.Worth their price and highly recommended!Hope that helps!

I've never taken Chlorella before so I didn't know what to expect.I know it's good and beneficial for you.The packets don't have a tear line, you'll have to work on tearing them yourself. If you're trying to pour the powder in the bottle like I tried in the video, it'll be all over the place. It's like powdered sugar or cinnamon powder, super fine dust.I wasn't impressed with the taste at all. Tastes like tree leaves with seaweed flavor. It doesn't dissolve in water obviously, and your mouth will be full of it.I'll probably finish the pack and never do this form again.Capsules would have been a much better option.It's made in Japan, so I would trust the quality of chlorella.

If you don't mind the very earthy taste, this is a great supplement. It's akin to the AG1 stuff you see advertised all the time. It's full of quality nutrients. If you can't stand the taste, I find mixing it with a water enhancer works out a lot of the flavor.
